Before devoting her full effort to key accounts and day to day management of Bettencourt Group, Jeanmarie spent 14 years covering the NW territory. Her keen understanding of the customer base in the territory allowed her to develop the sales team they have in place today. The Bettencourt showroom, thanks to the design effort of Jeanmarie, has and still enjoys a reputation of being a destination showroom.
Bill’s background is 30 + years in the tabletop and housewares industries focusing on sales and marketing management. He has had sales experience with everything from independent retail stores up to and including international retailers. Bill also created and manages the Domestique.com part of their business.
Bill assists Jeanmarie with all internal management issues as well as some key account sales.
Gina is the engine that keeps the showroom and the back office running smoothly. As Showroom Manager, she is the vital link between our customers, reps and manufacturers. She also oversees our sales management systems and powers the Bettencourt blog. Gina joined Bettencourt with over 13 years of experience in sales support, marketing and event planning, including 3 years specific to the Gift industry. We don't know what we would do without her!
With 10 years buying and retail experience for Larry’s Gourmet Markets and 5 years experience at other local Markets, Victoria’s knowledge of this class of trade has helped Bettencourt establish major programs with local grocery chains and independents.
Marcia has extensive experience in the ecommerce line of distribution, from launching the home and kitchen store on Amazon.com 11 years ago, to most recently working with Zulily.com in expanding their product offering. A merchant at heart, Marcia was a corporate buyer for TJX Corp rounding out her strong retail acumen. Marcia’s current customer base includes atgstores.com, drugstore.com, gilt.com, ideeli.com, mertado.com, ruelala.com, littlerue.com and zulily.com. She is also handling the brick and mortar stores, TJX Corp, Ross and Nordstrom Rack.
As our newest member of Bettencourt, Lisa joins us with 15 years experience representing upscale lines. Her background also includes experience in visual merchandising management for a national home furnishing retailer. We are so pleased to welcome Lisa who along with all this experience brings an enthusiastic and professional work ethic to our team!

With a comprehensive 15 years experience in corporate operations for the Mortgage Industry, Michelle moved into the Gift Trade in 2008. She quickly became fluent in our trade handling 35+ vendors in Idaho, Eastern Washington and Montana where she increased sales over 20% in one of the hardest retail environments. We are excited to welcome Michelle to Bettencourt along with her wonderful enthusiasm and skills which will contribute greatly to our overall success in 2011.

We welcomed Colleen to Bettencourt in Jan of 2011. She joins us with 10 years experience in the Gift Trade as a representative of high end gifts and a charter member of the Million Dollar Club. Colleen’s extensive managerial experience includes working with such renowned Northwest retailers as Columbia Sportswear, Fred Meyer and Nordstrom.
Colleen’s territory includes the Portland metropolitan area and Eastern/Central Oregon.
Evan brings to our team inside and outside sales experience, including management and business development. He previously co-owned an Artisan Contracting company which also involved sales of high-end consumer electronics through Amazon.com Evan is creative and detailed oriented; fully understanding the importance of thorough and accurate product data. His primary focus is ecommerce support and sales for Amazon.com. Overall, Evan's well-rounded background makes for an exceptional long-term addition to the Bettencourt / Be online sales team.
Elissa came to Bettencourt with extensive sales experience consisting of corporate sales and marketing in the textile and printing industries. Elissa shares key account responsibility along with Jeanmarie and she manages Bettencourt’s National e-commerce business. Additionally Elissa assists in the overall management and development of Bettencourt’s growth.
